In memory...

We were saddened today to learn that Maggie, Mom and Dad's oldest Boston Terrier, passed away this morning. She just turned eleven in January and this week marks the anniversary when we got her around Valentine's Day in 1997. As Mom would say, "She started it all."

First Annual ECU Marching Percussion Festival

In October of 2007, Ben hosted the first annual ECU Marching Percussion Festival.
The three guest clinicians in attendance were Mike Macintosh, Brett Kuhn , and Huei Pan.
It was a fantastic day consisting of performances at a morning clinic by four Oklahoma high school drumlines and an open round-table discussion of percussion issues in the afternoon.
It's always such a great experience for all involved to have events like this. It is really enjoyable for us when we can have our good friends from our UT & UCA days come and stay with us while they are here, too!

Keep your eyes peeled for runaway BTs!

Dinner time

At about three or four weeks, the pups started eating a slop of puppy food, milk replacer formula, and water all mixed up in the blender. They all knew it was dinner time when we took them out of the crate and put them in the box. Most of them ate quite a bit, and they all seemed to share pretty well. Then as you can see, it was time for a wipe down before returning to the crate!

In the beginning....

Can you see why it was so hard to give these little things up? They made it hard to leave the house everyday! There's just something about having seven little puppies around that makes you so happy and crazy and tired all at the same time.

Hello again....

I know, I know....it's been WAY too long (almost five months) since our last post. As you can see, we have been a little busy with puppies, holidays, school, and computer issues. Never fear, though, we have tons of pictures to share and stories to accompany them!

We'll begin right where we left off and try to go stay on track. So check back often as I hope to update much more regularly.

Have a wonderful day!
