As many of you may have learned, when you move away from home, the longer you are away, the harder it becomes to stay in touch with your families and friends. Weekly phone calls, a few emails here and there, and the usual treks across the country at holiday times just aren't enough to really let those you care about know what's going on with you.
In answer to our longing to stay in touch, we've decided to try out this whole "blogging" scene. We love to email and send photos on various websites, but what better way to tell the whole story than through photos AND mini-novels?
So here goes our attempt at trying to continue, and really enhance, our communication with those of you who have been special parts of our lives!
